Here you will find information on how to become an instructor in the Krav Maga Survival solution.

The official Krav Maga Survival instructor is categorised in four levells:
*Basic Instructor (No belt requirement)
*Full Instructor (No belt requirement)
*Main Instructor (Min. 2nd Mastergrade)
*Military Instructor

Please note the following: it is possible to become instructor without being Blackbelt. The grading system is mutual independant of the Basic & Full "Certified" Instrutor education. 
(Costs of Instructor Seminars can vary).

Basic requirement:

* All candidates in the instructor seminars are required to have minimum 3 years of martial arts experience.
* The candidate is supposed to have at least 20 hours of Krav Maga Survival personal training by a Main Instructor(you will have additional costs for this).
* Candidates must have a first aid course not older than 3 years old and be able to prove this.
* Comming instructors can not have a criminal record.
* Minimum 23 years of age.
* Pass a test of "ethical skills" in a private interview with a Main Instructor and the candidate must have his intructors recommendation.
*Send in a CV and a picture of the candidate.
* Physical doctors test. 
* Good physical and mental conditioning.

There is an official fee for instructors certificates of € 120
Parcipants who pass the instructors seminar, will be graded according to their skills if they wish to. (this clascification is free of charge - the certificates however not)

All candidates will become Basic Intsructors (if they pass), before they become Full Instructors (unless they already have a Krav Maga instructors education) - this is the official "probation time".

After proving their skills and motivating students for about one year the Basic Instructor will have the oppotunity to test for Full "certified" Instructor or make the Basic again (the Basic Instructor license is valid for 15 months).
The Basic Instructor can officially teach until the 3rd student level (including), according to Syllabus.

SEMINAR CONTENTS

Basic Instructor Seminar: 
The Basic Instructor seminar has only basic techniques against weapons, this is mainly covered in the Full Instructors seminar & the Main Instructors seminar.

 Kicking, punching and blocking techniques. (differs from other MA)
 Stances, positions.
 Control grips
 Take downs.
 Control of downed oponent.
 Fighting positioning
 Test of boxing/kickboxing and knock down skills
 Fighting tactics again one and two persons
 Basic knowledege of "Tactical Survival". 
 De-escalation
 Anatomy - weak points of the body
 Body weapons - striking parts
 Basic defence against weapons
 Basic self defense 
 Chokes
 Knowledge of "Proportional use of Force" - legal use of force.
 Organisational information
 Stand up procedure from grounded position
 Mental fighting mode
 Stress handling in combat encounters

Full Instructor Seminar: 
The Full Instructor seminar includes a. o. de-arming of weapons as well as basic ground survival.
The seminar covers the whole Syllabus until Blackbelt - Master level. The seminar period is 4 times 6 hours.

Test of knowledge of "Tactical Survival"
Test of advanced skills in fighting (boxing/kickboxing & knock down)
 Defense against weapons (sticks, knifes and guns)
 Fighting tactics against multiple attackers
 Take down defense.
 Basic ground defense
 Fighting in confined spaces
 Knowledge of non-leathal weapons
 Advanced self defense
 Freeing from control grips
 Other weapons for self defense use
 Basic use of weapons (sticks, knifes and guns)
 Mental stability under extreeme stress

 

Main Instructor Seminar: 
The Main Instructor seminar has the whole syllabus and has a seminar period of 6 times 6 hours.
Main Instructors minimum have the 2nd Mastergrade.

Military Instructor  

The Military Instructor syllabys is not publicly available.
